Acura's sporty entry-level coupe replaced the popular Integra for the 2002 model year, and was aimed at
youthful, performance-oriented drivers. The Integra was one of the first models offered by Acura dealers
when they opened for business in 1986. For many years the Integra was one of Acura's most popular models.
The RSX has become popular with driving enthusiasts, automotive critics and performance-oriented customers.
The 2006 Acura RSX continues essentially unchanged for 2006 with the exception of adding Global Silver
Metallic as a new exterior color. Horsepower ratings have been adjusted for 2006 with the adoption of the
new SAE rating standards with the RSX rated at 155 horsepower and the RSX Type-S rated at 201 horsepower.
The Acura RSX includes antilock 4-wheel disc brakes and front torso side airbags. Models equipped with a
manual transmission add interior accents in chrome and faux titanium. The RSX includes an automatic climate
control system, sunroof, and heated mirrors.
