59' Chevrolet Biscayne

Named after a show car displayed at the 1955 General Motors Motorama, the Biscayne was the least
expensive model in the Chevrolet full-size car range, which also included the Delray, Bel Air,
Impala and Caprice. Biscaynes were produced primarily for the fleet market, though they were
also available to the general public — particularly to those who wanted low-cost, no-frills
transportation with the convenience, room and power of a full-size automobile.

Chevy's sales brochure for 1959 models, including the 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air and 1959 Chevrolet
Biscayne, said it simply: "all new all over again." Totally restyled, flaunting dramatic horizontal
fins, Chevrolets adopted a new 119-inch wheelbase -- longest in the low-priced field. Thinner doors
helped deliver five extra inches of interior space. Wide horizontal "nostrils" up front held the
parking lights. Thin windshield and ultra-slim raked C-pillars freed hardtop bodies of blind spots.
Compound-curve, wraparound windshields grew in size, boosting visibility.

This RARE 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne is a real eye catcher!
The Red exterior paint shows very well as does the red vinyl interior. The chrome is also
in good overall condition. This car has been lowered and is now sitting on 18" Chrome Rocket
Racing Wheels with a mild not too dark window tint. The engine is a V8 with a 3 speed floor
mounted manual. Overall this vehicle is in good condition, runs, drives, and rides GREAT!.
